平生身负，风流才调。

I can recite and talk about famous people.
唱新词，改难令，总知颠倒。

解剧扮，能化兵嗽，表里都峭。
I can perform in dramas and transform into different characters; both inside and outside, I am talented.
每遇著、饮席歌筵，人人尽道。
Whenever I attend banquets or gatherings, people all praise me.
可惜许老了。阎罗大伯曾教来，道人生、但不须烦恼。
Unfortunately, I am getting old. The Lord Yanluo once taught me that in life, there is no need to worry.
遇良辰，当美景，追欢买笑。
When I encounter good moments and beautiful scenery, I will pursue happiness and buy laughter.
剩活取百十年，只恁厮好。
I have only a few decades left to live, so I will cherish it and live happily.
若限满、鬼使来追，待倩个、掩通著到。
If my life is about to end and the Grim Reaper comes to claim me, I will make sure to cover it up and accept it gracefully.
